Up for 30km with an 11kg load?
We’re back for the second run of the Norwegian Foot March (NFM) challenge!
SVs who are up for the challenge, we will be running this on the 25 October, 2024. As usual, participants need to complete 30km with an 11kg load in under 4-6 hours (depending on your age group and gender). It’s considered a tough military march challenge and it ain’t easy - just ask our SVs who attempted this last December!
Please note the registration for Challengers is closed. We still need volunteers for logistics support. Please sign up below.
For those participating in the Challenge, there will be $20 registration fee.
Challenge Ready Reviews
Please note that we will be conducting a few Challenge Ready Reviews before the actual hike. These are timed sessions using part of the distance and/or load so that you can evaluate whether you are ready for the main Challenge! Please look out for the dates (to be confirmed soon).
Unsure you’re up for the challenge?

Call for Volunteers!
Not up for the Challenge itself but still want to be part of the SV team that will be the first to square away the Norwegian Foot March Singapore Challenge? You can still be part of the team as we need volunteers to help us pull this off. We're going to need help with aid stations, race marshalling and first aid. In any operation, the support team is a vital component of the mission's success and we'd like to invite you to be part of that team.
So if you're free to help out from 2100 to 0400 (or anything in between those times), sign up to be one of our volunteers!
